Hi all, at Nanyang Technological University, I am looking for a highly motivated research fellow in one or more of the following areas: 3D concrete printing, Engineered Cementitious Composites/ Strain-hardening Cementitious Composites, low carbon cement/concrete. Experience with carbon materials, such as biochar or activated carbon, incorporation in concrete is a plus, but not a must. Quality and novelty of previous research/ publications is much preferred over number. Strong communication, presentation and basic proposal writting skills are required. The Salehi Water and Environmental Research Lab (SWERL) within the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Missouri, Columbia, is seeking a highly motivated Ph.D. student to join our team starting in Fall 2024 or Spring 2025. The research focus is on the development of advanced analytical techniques for studying plastic pollution in the environment. It’s a fully funded position (30 K/year) and benefits (tuition and health insurance) will be provided.
