Do you want to study MS for almost no tuition fee abroad with easy acceptance? Why not go to Italy? Let us discuss everything you need to know to apply for MS in Italy?
Why should Indian students also consider going to Italy? Paying huge tuition fees or taking large loans has always been a hustle for Indian students. Most of the countries have almost living expense of 20-30 Lakhs INR as tuition fees and almost an overhead of half of the amount for living expenses. Italy offers not only cheap education (12000 INR to 24000 INR per semester) but also easy scholarships (run by respective universities) to meet your living expenses. So overall, you need to be very meticulous when you apply so that you also consider scholarships by State (Municipality), Government (Italian government) and some others by the universities. Moreover, if you are able to prove your family income to be low, you already get some scholarships that cover your living expenses, waiving off the tuition fees and then you can do part time to earn a little extra to enjoy your stay in Italy. That is, quality education at free of cost. If you plan to stay longer and become a citizen, then also Italy offers easy permanent residency options with becoming a citizen with the benefits of world’s strongest passports. The major condition to fulfil is be a regular resident of Italy for at least 5 years to become a permanent resident. Again, after doing education you always have a door open to rest of the work, for example the US, Canada or Germany.

What kind of campuses should you focus on? Outside India it is very less prominent that you will get hired by companies on campus (like placement), rather you have to apply by your own. Therefore, it is always better to go for urban campuses and cities where you can not only find part time roles easily (20 hours per week) but also the full time jobs during maters or after that. There are also some people who convert their MS to part time and then continue to do the job full time and then finish their MS in 3 years rather than 2 years.
